One of the benefits of working with Camtasia, is having a built-in studio, eliminating the need to save the file in a specific format and import it into another program to crop or otherwise edit your clips or videos.
1)Once you have imported your videos into Camtasia's Clip Bin, select one that you would like to begin editing, and drag it to the timeline at the bottom the of window.
2) To change when the video begins or ends, click and drag by the black arrows at either end of the clip. (The upper right-hand side of the screen allows you to preview your newly revised clip.)
3) Selecting a region and right-clicking on the clip will provide you with a drop down list of options for editing your video, including the capability to split or cut the selection.
